Track Quotient
To enhance the comparability between tracks, we calculate the so called Track Quotient. This value corresponds approximately to the trainig output in watts, but makes no claim to be as precise as an ergometer. Therefore it serves as a rough estimate of the training output and can provide an approximation of the degree of severity at a given speed.
Energy Quotient
To be able to compare the training output per time of different training sessions, we calculate the Energy Quotient by deviding the TQ by the time of the training session. That means, if the track profile stays the same (e.g. two laps of the same track) but speed changes, the TQ will stay unchanged whereas the EQ will decrease.
Fitness Quotient
The Fitness Quotient reflects your performance at a given TQ. Keeping track of this parameter will help you to estimate your personal success. But keep in mind that a blunted increase in heart rate during training sessions might be the result of an
Overtraining faking an increased endurance cpacity.
