Garmin TCX Import
Import of Garmin TCX files into the online sport diary sportanalytix.com

Within the "Endurance training" area just click on "Upload a new training" and choose the HRM file that you want to import into your training diary (see below where to find those files on your hard disk). Afterwards the normal entry mask will open, prefilled with the HRM Data. You can now edit or complement those data if you want to.
Some Garmin devices (like Garmin Edge) are automatically identified from Windows as an mass storage device. Therefore you are able to upload your training data directly from the folder Garmin\History .
If you have installed the Garmin Training Center on your computer, the software will store your data under C:\Documents and Settings\username\ApplicationData\GARMIN\Training Center\TCAcct\ as binary data. Therefore you have to manually export the data by navigating within the software to History -> Trainings -> Tracks and export the deserved files to a folder of your choice. Now you are able to upload the TCX-files to sportanalytix.com.
If you are using the Garmin ANT Agent and you have not changed the program folder manually, you will find the TCX files depending on your operating system under:
- Windows 2000/ XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\GARMIN\Devices\Device id\History
- Windows Vista/ 7: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN\Devices\Device id\History
- Macintosh: HD\Users\username\Library\App Support\Garmin\Devices\unit id\History
PLEASE NOTE: To see the folder AppData you have to activate the "show hidden files and folders" under the menu folder options. These are set to be hidden by default.
TIP: Create a shortcut to the folder on your desktop to bypass all of the aforementioned subfolders. This gives you faster access to your training data files.
